Letters to the Editor can be submitted by email. Each letter must be accompanied by your name, address and phone numbers where you can be reached night and day. All letters are verified before printing. Please include the phrase “Letter to the Editor" in the subject field and indicate which newspaper should receive the letter. - Erie City Council
If you are an Erie County resident, then please call or write to the City Council members and ask him or her to create a local city air emissions ordinance to strictly regulate any potential new industries in the city. Call your County Council representative and ask them to send a letter in protest to the City of Erie. Your tax dollars could end up being used as incentives and go to this disgusting plan to release tire dioxins. Many states have already passed laws prohibiting tire incineration.
